New Web site pages for electronic resources and health sciences gateway

The UIC Library is changing four frequently-consulted Web pages from lists to research guides. Effective May 15, the Library Web site will be updated with the new links, and redirects will forward users from the older pages to the new pages.

UIC Hockey Records Now Available

The UIC University Archives is pleased to announce that the records of the
UIC Hockey Program are now available for research.  The University of
Illinois at Chicago Circle, as it was then called, first fielded a varsity
hockey team in 1966. UICC competed in the Midwest Intercollegiate Hockey

Daley Library open 24 hours during finals week

The Daley Library will extend its hours during spring semester finals week to be open continuously from 1 pm on Sunday, May 3 through 7 pm on Friday, May 8.

Daley Library changes opening time to 6 a.m.

The Daley Library will open at 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, March 30 and continuing through May 8, 2009 (the Friday of finals week for spring semester). Saturday and Sunday opening times are unchanged.

Daley Library Special Collections expands Saturday and Wednesday hours

The Daley Library Special Collections and University Archives reading room has expanded hours for researchers to two Saturdays each month and longer hours on Wednesdays. The new schedule takes effect January 10, 2009.

Access to CSA Illumina Restored

A legal dispute between Sprint-Nextel and Cogent Communications made the Cambridge Scientific Abstracts database (CSA Illumina) temporarily unavailable to some customers including the UIC Library.
Service was reinstated on November 2.

Disabilities Services Update: Adaptive Technology Workstation Relocated

The adaptive technology workstation, adjustable table for wheelchair access, and the CCTV at the Daley Library have been moved to a new location on the second floor north, on the west side of the building (between the reference desk and microforms department).
