Embellished Medical Title Pages at LHS-Chicago

Electronic journals records upgraded in library catalog

The UIC Library upgraded records for more than 50,000 electronic journals in its library catalog (UICCAT).
All titles listed in the Journals page now have records in the library catalog.

Visual Resources collection moves to Daley Library

The Visual Resources library, a collection of images developed and maintained by the College of Architecture and the Arts (A&A) for instruction, has moved into room 1-461 of the Daley Library as of July 2009.

New Web site pages for electronic resources and health sciences gateway

The UIC Library is changing four frequently-consulted Web pages from lists to research guides. Effective May 15, the Library Web site will be updated with the new links, and redirects will forward users from the older pages to the new pages.

ArchiveGrid provides access to thousands of manuscript collections worldwide

Students and other members of the UIC community now have access to the online resource ArchiveGrid, an online guide to historical documents, personal papers, and family histories held in archives around the world. UIC Library Preserves Chicago Urban League Papers with $100,000 Save America’s Treasures Grant

Records of the Chicago Urban League will be preserved and housed at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Richard J. Daley Library under terms of a two-year, $100,000 grant from Save America’s Treasures, a federal program administered by the National Park Service.
