APA 6th Edition Output Style Available in RefWorks

RefWorks has added the APA 6th edition output style to RefWorks. To make this available on your own RefWorks account and in your Write N Cite account, do the following:

Log into your RefWorks account.
Click on the Bibliography tab.
Click on the pull down menu for the Output Style field.

New CAM Database: Natural Standard

Do you need to find evidence-based information on CAM treatments?  Try using UIC Library’s latest resource, Natural Standard. This database can be found on the Health Sciences Research Guide or the CAM guide. Open Media Collection is on the Move

The “Open Media” collection at LHS-Chicago, which is mostly made up of videos, is being relocated from the first floor to the third floor.   The  collection will be located on 3rd Floor West near the sorting area.

Two New MedlinePlus Features

Last week, MedlinePlus released a new version of the A.D.A.M. Medical Encyclopedia which now has 400 new Patient Instruction pages.  These pages have pre-operative information and instructions, discharge instructions, self-care instructions, and questions to ask your doctor.  These pages are available in both English and Spanish and can be found by searching MedlinePlus and the [...]
