GIDEON is a global infectious diseases database that can be used as a diagnostic tool. It has information on over 300 diseases and over 200 countries. Updated weekly, GIDEON has four modules: diagnosis, epidemiology, therapy, and microbiology. It contains images, graphs, and interactive maps.
GIDEON can also be used on a PDA or phone. To use GIDEON on your PDA or phone, you must download Opera Mini. iPhone users can use the Safari browser to access GIDEON.
