UIC Library at Printers Row Lit Fest June 6-7

The UIC Library will join thousands of book sellers, literacy advocates, authors, and readers at the Chicago Tribune Printers Row Lit Fest on June 6-7.  Visit location K1-3 to get information about the Library’s collections and services.

The Library will  host two book signings at its booth on Sunday beginning at 12:30 pm.  Eileen Tanner, UIC’s special assistant for campus relations, will sign The Historic Netsch Campus at the University of Illinois at Chicago, a work rich in photographs of the architecture of the Circle campus.  Gary Buslik, lecturer in UIC’s English department, will sign his newest book of short stories, A Rotten Person Travels the Caribbean.

The Library will share its location with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) Library, the University of Illinois Press, UIUC’s Graduate School of Library and Information Science, the Illini Union Bookstore, Dalkey Press, and the literary journal Ninth Letter.
Admission to the fair and all events is free. The Lit Fest is located on South Dearborn from Polk Street to Congress Parkway.  The hours are 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7.
