Accessing Library Resources and RefWorks through Google Scholar

Do you use Google Scholar to look for citations?  Here is how to find full text articles and more from UIC Library through Google Scholar:

  1. On the Google Scholar homepage, click on the Scholar Preferences link next to the Search button.
  2. In the Library Links section,  search for University of Illinois at Chicago.
  3. Select all the links related to University of Illinois at Chicago.   You can also select Open World Cat which looks for books.
  4. Select Save Preferences at the bottom of the screen.  As you search in Google Scholar you will see a Find It @ UIC link next to the citations.

If you use RefWorks, look at the last category Bibliography Manager.  Select RefWorks in the show links to import citations drop down menu. As you search in Google Scholar,  there will be an Import to RefWorks link below the citations.  When you click on Import to RefWorks, you can login to your account to download citations.
