Nursing Home Rating System Controversy

Last Thursday, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services released Nursing Home Compare.  This rating system has detailed information about every Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing home in the country.   Users can access the Five-Star Quality Ratings  which are based on health inspections, staffing, and quality measures.

Need Citations about Bioethics or Genetic Research Issues?

ETHXWeb is a free database created and maintained by Georgetown University’s National Reference Center for Bioethics Literature.  It has journal and news articles, book chapters, and laws related to bioethics and professional ethics. Spanish-English Evidence-Based Resource

Excelencia Clinica is search engine based on the TRIP database, an evidence-based resource. It was created from a collaboration between the Spanish Ministry of Health, the Iberoamerican Cochane Center, and TRIP. There are materials in both English and Spanish and it can be searched in either language.
