Set up a MyILL@UIC Account. Ordering articles and books is a free service for UIC patrons. This account allows you to keep track of what you have requested. You will get an email when the items you have ordered are ready to be picked up. Articles are posted to your account as PDFs while books will need to be picked up from the library.
There are two ways articles or books can be ordered:
- Type or copy and paste the item’s info into the request form.
- When browsing through your search results in one of our databases, click on the
button to see if UIC Library owns the item electronically or in print. If UIC Library does not own the item, click on the link for your library site then login to your MyILL@UIC Account. The citation information should automatically be filled in the request form.
