Access to CSA Illumina Restored

A legal dispute between Sprint-Nextel and Cogent Communications made the Cambridge Scientific Abstracts database (CSA Illumina) temporarily unavailable to some customers including the UIC Library.
Service was reinstated on November 2.

How to Do In Text Citations with Write-N-Cite

Want to save time typing up your paper?  Install Write-N-Cite on your computer.  Write-N-Cite, a RefWorks utility, allows you to insert in text citations into your paper from references you exported into RefWorks.  Then Write-N-Cite creates your bibliography for you based on your references.

More Tests, More Hours

The Library of the Health Sciences-Urbana will be open extended hours this coming weekend because of the M1 tests on Monday November 3rd.
LHSU will be open:
Friday from 8:30am – 8:00pm
Saturday from 9:00am – 8:00pm
Sunday from 1:00pm – 10:00pm
and opening early at 7:00am on Monday
