ISI Web of Science Expands
We are pleased to announce that the Library is expanding access to ISI Web of Science, giving UIC users the ability to search from 1975 to present. This purchase adds 12 more years (1975-1986) of access to retrospective literature, in the Science Citation Index, Art & Humanities Citation Index, and Social Sciences Citation Index. The Library well recognizes the value of archive literature to researchers. Of the 50 most highly-cited items in the Web of Science, more than 60% were published over 20 years ago and almost 25% were published over 40 years ago.
