Ebrary changes book selection; some e-books unavailable
Ebrary announced the removal of approximately 2,000 eBooks published by Taylor & Francis that are currently in our collection. When you are searching UICCAT or Ebrary for one of these titles, you will have a result that tells you it is unavailable. In response to this move, the Library has purchased outright several eBooks that had high usage in the last twelve months or have been on reserve. This will enable UIC to have perpetual access to key eBooks published by T&F. If you need a particular eBook and cannot find it, please contact Collection Development at lib-book@uic.edu and let us know.
Please do know that while we understand this may be an inconvenience, Ebrary has already replaced these titles with more than 2,500 eBooks from scholarly publishers such as Oxford University Press, Yale University Press, MIT Press, University of Minnesota Press, Palgrave Macmillan, University of California Press, University of Texas Press, and Guilford Press.
