Service alert: PubMed failing to respond to UIC Options
UPDATE: As of 3:10 PM on Monday 10/1/07, PMID queries originating from PubMed appear to be connecting to our servers and resolving properly.
EARLIER: As of 7 AM Monday, 1 October 2007, requests for full text that originate from within PubMed’s interface, e.g., the UIC options button, are not working. If the query originates from a different source (like Ovid, or the PMID search box on the e-journals page under “CITATION LINKER”) it resolves without problem. We have been informed that PubMed is aware of the issue and is working to solve it. Till then, the UIC full text access through the button will be unavailable. Journal articles can still be found through the Library’s journals page and UICCAT.
