UIC users no longer require an individual subscription in order to receive Academe Today, The Chronicle of Higher Education’s e-mailed daily alert. As part of UIC’s Chronicle subscription, anyone can sign up for this popular report. Each daily alert summarizes the latest events in higher education as well as all the news, career advice, and essays published in the most recent issue. The e-briefing also provides links to the complete news article on The Chronicle’s Web site.
Signing up for Academe Today is simple. Just go to the Academe Today website and click on the “sign up now” link. If you don’t already have a free Chronicle account will have to create one before signing up for this service. Once you confirm your e-mail address, you will receive your copy of Academe Today the very next weekday morning
